Caught this little guy in our living room this morning. Unfortunately Bear broke a couple of his back legs, but I think he'll live. He's already been returned to our yard.

Lexi and Bubbles
My baby's new obsession: bubbles! Daddy bought her very first sword Tuesday. It's a bubble sword!

Today's Dinner
Soooooo good! Baked chicken strips dipped in mayonnaise and coated in onion soup mix and chicken breading, buttered biscuits and mixed veggies. Do you like Alex's plate on the far left? Or my before and after picks with curious little fingers?

Silly Baby
Lexi sure does love to wear pool table equipment. Bows? Oh no! But give her a 9-ball rack any day!

Lexi Leu
So Lexi is getting into EVERYTHING now. Her walking is so adorable, but man can she push boundaries. She loves climbing on anything higher than her and has all-out tantrums when she can't do what she wants. I think I'm so heartless, but she's so cute when she pouts her little face and arches her back to get her way.
The other day I was trying to cook dinner and establish rules (like "no"). I had a baby gate up so she couldn't get in the kitchen. After about 5 minutes of crying on the other side, she figured out how to move it at the end and come in anyway. The next 1/2 hour was spent picking her up, putting her on the other side of the gate, and saying, "Lexi no. Don't come in the kitchen." Didn't work at all. After 2 times of this, she came in, arms extended, making kissing faces!!! I could just see the thought bubble, "Mommy, I'm just coming in to kiss you!" Sigh. What could I do? I tried kissing her and putting her back, but eventually she just came in crying when she saw me but still making that so adorable kissing face.
She ended up on my hip as I cooked. I couldn't put her down for fear of losing the battle. Lol! I need a giant sticker that says "First-time Clueless Mom with Determined Baby."
